It's called putting you on the Hook. If you watch my show you'll know what I mean. A good way of telling if someone's putting you on their hook is if they keep saying 'right now'. For example, "I don't want to be with you. Right now." He's stringing you along but not committing and leaving you around just in case, as a backup girlfriend. 'Right now' paints a picture of a magical future when everyone will work out between you but the truth is, it will never happen. True story.

There are two console programs I use - fbi for viewing images and mpg123 for mp3s. Loading all files from a folder is as simple: mpg123 /foo *.mp3 or fbi /foo *.jpg However, I would like to be able to load not just the content in a particular folder, but also all the files recursively in all the other folders nested within.

Alexis de Tocqueville could not have been more correct when he stated this about what happens when voters are able to vote their own benefits from government. The end result of this is that government takes on obligations that it cannot possibly deliver on - and those who advocate less generous benefits are inevitably at a disadvantage in political arguments. The only question for America is whether the ship of state can be turned around, and private charity can over time take over current social welfare programs that have become government functions. If not, America is headed for dictatorship in the long run - a disaster for everyone.
