Do you watch football to be entertained or to get political commentary?

I was watching the pre-season game last night on NBC and at the end of the pre-game program Keith Overman made the comment, "This is the 1579 day since the Declaration of Mission Accomplished." I watch football to be entertained, not get political commentary. Is this just another attempt by the media to covertly undermine the President?
