Judge Judy Gives PLaintiff $5000?

I was watching an episode today and it was the one when A dentist manager was suing someone she worked with for filing false police charges for ault...Judge Judy dismissed her case but then at the end she asked the denfendent if she had a case against the Dentist of the office and then she awared the Plaintiff $5000...WHY did she do that??
