Will my ex text me if i implement the no contact rule . we split up about two months ago? Advice plz?

is it tru that if i ignore my ex and dont get intouch or anything he will eventually wonder where i am wat im doing etc and call me ? ive heard the NC rule works and have been trying it out for a couple of months. Heard nothing yet but for the record im not plannin to contact him . i got pride. lol
