Are people concerned that the percentage of Hispanics in the US is increasing so rapidly?

I sometimes wonder whether most Americans are concerned about the extraordinarily rapid rate at which Hispanics are growing in this country. In CA, Hispanics will be the majority by 2042, according to US Census projections...even in areas where there were traditionally very few or none (like my hometown in TN), I see a lot of Hispanics at the mall all the time. It's strange, bc I live in an area that has been traditionally all Black and White ever since I was born, and like in a matter of a year or two, the demographics of my community have changes significantly. I'm not saying Hispanics migrating to the USA is wrong..this country was, after all, built on the premise of inviting people around the world to share in the prosperity this country has to offer...it just seems like it's happening soooo fast and suddenly. I'm moving out to LA soon, and I've heard it's pretty much a majority Hispanic city...what do Americans think of this trend?
