Aspiring Actor (Question avout Second City improv)?

Im 15 male from Iowa, who is going to the Second City improv "boot camp" in the summer for 2 weeks. I know all these SNL greats came from there (Farley, Bulushi etc) And I was wondering, if i did a really good job there, would that help me increase my chances at becoming an actor?
