It's possible. But either way, if he isn't, he's a precursor! Notice the times around you. You will see many wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and storms more current and bigger, floods in one area while famine takes over another. People turning away from the church (Great Falling Away). All this is just the birth pangs which already begun. Soon the Antichrist will make his way to the stage, but the Christians will be gone. We'll be meeting our Lord and Savior up in the clouds - taken away from the Tribulation that is about to begin...
