I am dating this man ?

and I live in a house... the bottom part i rent out and the top part my male neighbor lives in. The guy I am dating kept asking me questions about him and stated he thinks my neighbor likes me ( i do have dinner with my neighbor on occasion on our patio but it is platonic) but this man I see kept probing me indirectly about my neighbor today? Was he joking around or curious ? WE are not serious yet and I do not even know if he dates other women or not...what do you think?
