Is this dedication, obsession or in vain (plz read)?

I would not call "Jane" a freak per se' but I would caution her against living in denial. It appears as though that is what she is doing. It is evident that "Joe" is making every effort to get on with his life whereas Jane is simply holding onto the past. If he has made no effort to stay in contact with Jane, then she must respect that he has come to terms with the end of the relationship. She must follow suit. It is painful but you cannot deny reality its rightful place in our lives. She has to accept the truth and do her best to concentrate on her future. There will be other "true loves." Life is nothing more than a series of possibilities, once we choose to recognize it as such and stop shutting ourselves off to them.
